Caring For Our Chickens

Chicken farmers take pride in their work and are committed to high standards. Every farm follows the Raised by a Canadian Farmer Animal Care and On-Farm Food Safety Programs.

Since 2009, this program has set the bar for proper animal care, backed by the National Farm Animal Care Council. Certified farmers are audited yearly by third-party auditors to ensure these standards are met, with practices informed by science and farm experience.
