The Chicken Farmers of Saskatchewan have announced that applications are now open for its New Entrant Program, which offers a unique opportunity to have a new farmer join Saskatchewan’s growing broiler chicken sector.
Since its inception in 1966, CFS has been dedicated to helping family-run farms be sustainable for long-term success in the poultry sector. The program is designed to grow and expand the sector. As the chicken sector continues to thrive, CFS is excited to offer this opportunity to an accepted new farmer and looks forward to welcoming the selected applicant.
New farmers accepted into the program will benefit from a range of services, including educational resources and expert industry support to help with a smooth and successful transition into the sector.
